In this newsletter we present the new Vecow ICS-1000 PC.
The Vecow ICS-1000 PC is an advanced industrial embedded system designed to offer high performance, reliability and a host of integrated features to meet the needs of the most demanding industrial applications.
This is a real server designed for industrial applications, it is based on the ICE LAKE architecture; in particular Vecow has chosen the following SoCs for this PC model:
- Intel®Xeon® D-2876NT
- Intel®Xeon® D-2752TER
These are characterized by an excellent performance/consumption ratio.
As verification of what is written above we present the benchmark data of the Xeon D-2752TER.

The most relevant aspect of this product is the possibility of integrating up to two video cards with a dedicated power budget of 1800W, NVIDIA or AMD.
It is clear that this feature makes this PC suitable for AI applications, being able to exploit the CUDA libraries, and for applications with high graphic performance such as passenger information.
Among the main features is Intel QuickAssist Technology (QAT), which accelerates encryption and decryption operations, improving data security and optimizing the performance of cryptographic applications.
QAT technology is extremely useful in AI, high-performance storage and cloud applications; the encryption and decryption of this data places a very heavy load on the CPU, so much so that Intel has produced add ON PCIe cards with an SoC that only takes care of this activity; in the 4th/5th generation of scalable processors this SoC was integrated into the processor DIE.
The system is also equipped with SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) ports, which enable high-speed Ethernet connectivity via fiber optics. The featured SFP ports offer flexibility in network connectivity and can support high data transfer rates of up to 10GB and long transmission distances, making the Vecow ICS-1000 PC suitable for applications requiring reliable, high-performance network performance.
It is possible to install on board a module with Nuvoton NUC980 (an out-of-band (OOB) management card) provided by ALLXON remote management software which allows network administrators to access and manage the system remotely even when the primary network connection is down or unavailable. This functionality increases the resilience and reliability of the system, allowing maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting operations to be carried out at any time and anywhere, for example on the roadside.
